Burlingham Sports - Many options are available on Burlingham Sports items - at an additional cost.  Embroidered items will take approximately 4 weeks for delivery.  Options available for the different items include:

• Small Sport - reinforced padded seat covered in Sunbrella fabric, standard or custom embroidered monograms
• Pony Sport - reinforced padded seat covered in Sunbrella fabric, standard or custom embroidered monograms, wheel assembly, dry erase board with pen

Equissentials Information - The basic style of Equissentials are designed as a "slip-on" breech with no buckles, zippers, velcro, or snaps to get in the way.  These options are available at an additional cost. 

Equissentials are designed to be extremely flattering and comfortable.  There are no seams on pressure points or in contact with the saddle, insuring absolute comfort.  The seaming creates a slenderizing look through the waist and upper thigh area, as no focus is drawn to the outside of the hips.  The waistband is 2.5 inches high, made of the same fabric as the pant with an additional layer of heavy Lycra sandwiched inside to insure that the band will not slip down or stretch out for the life of the garment.  The pant is finished at the anklebone, where it remains, whether wearing tall or short boots.

Fabrics

• French Terry - is a dense knit composed of 88% cotton and 12% lycra.  It has 120% four-way stretch, allowing complete and total freedom of motion whether working around the barn or in the saddle.  Although it may seem heavy to the touch, it is specifically manufactured as a year-round weight.  Our research as found that it is best suited for temperatures from 25-75 degrees F.  The fabric fits like a second skin without being revealing.
• Fabrics - Equicool - is a superior moisture wicking fabric that is strong and non-pilling.  It has four-way stretch and is 94% cotton and 6% lycra.  Perfect for riders in extreme heat or humid conditions. 
• Fabrics - Polartec - this high tech fabric is the optimum fabric for winter riding.  Composed of 50% polyester, 40% nylon, and 10% lycra - it is rated at 20 degrees F below zero and is wind and water-resistant.  As a bonus, hay does not stick to it and dirt literally brushes off. 

Miscellaneous Information

• The Stars -  Deerskin leather has naturally occuring blemishes and these blemishes are covered with random sized "stars."  They have become so popular that some customers request additional stars on their breeches.  It should be noted that almost all of the breeches have "stars" somewhere on the leather - these are standard!
• Maternity Breeches - Equissentials manufactures MATERNITY breeches (in any style) upon request at the same price as regular styles.  After birth, the company will alter them into regular breeches at NO CHARGE except for shipping charges.
• Repairs and Alterations - Repairs will be made at minimal cost.  If you lose weight, Equissentials will alter them to a size DOWN at NO CHARGE except for shipping charges.

Custom Measurement Information

Please have someone measure these 9 areas (it is more accurate than trying to measure yourself).  When taking measurements, please use a flexible tape measure.  These are high waisted, stretchy pull-on breeches but through the CUSTOM option - you can fit them as LOW RISE by REQUEST.  Please provide the measurements below and state in your order that you want a LOW RISE waist - the style will be adjusted accordingly.  Please provide the measurements in an EMAIL with measurements (in inches) corresponding to areas 1 through 9.  Please add #9 - Rise (Put String around your waist and measure from the front, under the crotch to the back).

Tropical Rider Information - "Riding Apparel for 21st Century Equestrians" - Tropcial Rider breeches are Made in the USA which ensures the highest quality for each and every pair of breeches.  These breeches are available in both traditional breech styles and pull-on styles.  Tropical Rider zippered breeches are made from Schoeller four-way stretch fabric and are cut very true to size.  Tropical Rider pull-on breeches are made from several different high tech fabrics and sizing is a bit flexible.   Many styles are available with either deerskin leather full seats/patches or Clarino full seats/patches.  Men's breeches are also available from Tropical Rider - please email us for style and pricing information.

• Deerskin Leather - Deerskin leather is light, stretchy, and stays soft and supple for years.  It is extremely durable and machine washable (please follow manufacturer's guidelines for washing).  It provides unparalleled grip and contact and yet is so soft and supple that the leather stretches with you when you move. 
• Clarino Synthetic Suede - Clarino is a soft, synthetic suede that remains flexible in all weather, breathes for comfort and is machine washable.
• Deerskin Leather Full Seat - full rear-end coverage down each leg to middle of calf
• Deerskin Extended Patch - leather from crotch seam to midcalf
• Deerskin Knee Patch - 10" leather patch over knee area
• Clarino Full Seat - full rear-end coverage down each leg to middle of calf
